The PEAK Center presents… Tai Chi Resumes on Monday evenings, Sept. 14th 5 PM - 6:15 PM. The cost is $25 for six week session. Arthritis Support Group- This group meets the third Friday of each month 10:30-11:30 AM AARP Safe Driving Class -Day and evening classes –The standard class for first time participants will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7th and Thursday,Oct. 8th, 9:00AM - 1:00PM. A four hr. recertification class will be held on Thurs. November 5th, 9:00AM - 1:00PM Blood Pressure Screenings– The 2nd Tuesday of each month, 10:30 AM -12:00 noon. Sponsored by the NPVNA. Dr Bumgardner,MD, Grand View Hospital, Joint Pain - Friday, Oct 23rd, 10:30 AM Flu Shots – Friday Oct. 16th, by appointment, 12:30 - 2:30 PM. Immunizations will be administered by the NPVNA. If the immunizations are not covered by your health insurance plan, there will be a fee of $25 for influenza and $50 for pneumonia immunizations Glucose Clinic – The 4th Tuesday of each month - sponsored by the Byada Nurses. Health Fair – Friday, Oct 23rd, 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM -Stop and get a free screening for hearing, stroke, pulminary function, blood pressure, glucose and more. The Next Step –Thursday, November 12th, 9:00 AM- Noon - A program designed to cover end of life issues. Come and learn about Doylestown Hospital's choices program which addresses Living Wills and Advanced Directives. Other topics to be covered are, cremation and estate planning. The fee is $ 2.50, registered by November 5th.
