SEC Senior Environment Corps   

 At The Peak Center

The PEAK Center’s Senior Environment Corps (SEC) is a very active and growing volunteer organization.  This program has been in service at the PEAK Center since 1998.  It started with SEC volunteers performing Water Quality Monitoring of local streams(Details).  Since then its members have expanded its role to include water related Environmental Education and Outreach programs(Details), for youths and adults, ink cartridge and cell phone recycling(Details), and sponsorship and involvement in community events(Details).  If you have an interest in any of these subjects and would like to help us continue this program contact the SEC Coordinator at The PEAK Center on 215-362-7432 Ext. 224.

SEC Mission Statement:

Provide the community with volunteer services through water quality monitoring of local streams, conducting water related environmental education programs, recycling and participation in other environmental & community endeavors.
